Beloved early 2000s singer Da’Ville makes a soulful comeback with “Sunshine Days,” his first official single and video in over 13 years. Reflecting on his journey, he shared, “I chose me. I chose joy. Music helped me survive. Even when nobody else believed in me, I believed in myself.”

Da’Ville, returns to the spotlight
Veteran artist Da’Ville makes a surprising comeback with the release of “Sunshine Days,” his first official single and music video in over 13 years. The track, distributed by AMP Music and managed by Beautiful People Management, marks a powerful return.
Following his meteoric rise with beloved early 2000s anthems like “Always On My Mind,” “In Heaven,” and “Can’t Get Over You,” Da’Ville found himself locked in a label deal that clashed with his creative vision. Amid personal challenges and fractured business relationships, including a split from his former manager, he made the difficult decision to step away from the spotlight.
“Eventually, I left New York. I walked away from my label, my management, and everything else. Then I found out I was being blacklisted just for standing up for myself,” he explained. “But I chose me. I chose joy. I chose faith. I chose the fans who never stopped believing.”
Reflecting on his time in the spotlight, Da’Ville shared, “When I first started, it was never about fame or fortune. It was just my passion. Music helped me survive. Even when nobody else believed in me, I believed in myself.”
Though out of the public eye, Da’Ville never stopped creating. He continued to write, perform, and reconnect with the purpose that first inspired his music. “This is the most personal and spiritual chapter of my journey,” he said. “‘Sunshine Days’ is about gratitude, love, and walking through life with your head up. The world needs that energy right now, and I’m here to give it.”
Da’Ville’s return is being managed by Wendy Morgan of Beautiful People Management, who is spearheading the relaunch and guiding the next phase of his musical journey.
“Music helped me survive. Even when nobody else believed in me, I believed in myself.”
“This project is truly from the heart,” said Morgan. “Da’Ville has grown tremendously, both personally and artistically. It’s an honor to help him bring this moment to the world.”
The “Sunshine Days” music video, directed by visual powerhouse BlingBlang, offers vibrant storytelling that mirrors the song’s uplifting message.
“I’m happy every time an artist I appreciate calls me to direct a project like this,” added BlingBlang. “I’m a fan of Da’Ville, so I was excited to bring this song to life on screen. It’s a great song for everyone.”
