The collaboration between producer Robert Livingston under his Scikron Entertainment and Big Yard Music and reggae crooner Christopher Martin delivers once again with the release of “Don’t Have to Ask.” Dropped on February 14, 2026 - coinciding with the singer’s birthday, the single carries that unmistakable “sugar reggae” feeling fans have come to love.
The track tells a heartfelt love story many can relate to or aspire to. Christopher Martin openly professes his love and appreciation for the woman he considers the love of his life, embracing vulnerability and genuine emotion. It’s a celebration of devotion and the timeless art of loving a woman.
“I am sugar reggae, and that has always been my moniker for my evolution — sweet sugar reggae,” Martin shared.
The creative partnership has a proven track record, producing standout hits such as “Guarantee,” “You’ll Never Find,” and “Indecisive.” When these forces unite, the result is pure magic, with undeniable chemistry that consistently delivers timeless reggae moments.
“Don’t Have to Ask” serves as the first release from the upcoming Happy Wife album, produced by Big Yard Music and set for full release on February 21, 2026. The project features also artistes like Lutan Fyah, Jahzeal, Shawn Antoine, Akeen Fennell and Thrilla Rush, each offering their own perspective on love and devotion.
