Dancehall legend Bounty Killer celebrates a milestone, reaching 1 million followers on Instagram, just days before his highly anticipated return to the U.S. stage after more than 15 years. The legendary Warlord is set to perform this Saturday, July 5th, at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center.

With a career spanning from the early 1990s to the present day, Bounty Killer has contributed to over 500 riddim albums worldwide. His influence on the genre is unmatched, credited with inspiring an entire generation of artists including Vybz Kartel, Mavado, Aidonia, Busy Signal, and other key members of The Alliance.

In 2002, his collaboration with American rock band No Doubt on the hit single “Hey Baby” earned him his first Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Performance by a Duo or Group, placing him among the rare group of hardcore dancehall artists to receive such global recognition.

Now, he prepares to make his long-awaited U.S. comeback under "The Return of the Warlord", an event powered by American promoter CJ Milan under her Reggae Fest Tour brand. The show will also feature heavyweight guests Mavado, Aidonia, and Masicka.

The General has been putting in the work, sharing rehearsal clips as he prepares to deliver a performance worthy of his storied legacy, carefully curated by acclaimed Grammy-nominated producer Jazzwad. This return marks a major chapter in his illustrious career.
