Usain Bolt’s Tracks and Records has officially marked 15 years of operation in Jamaica, celebrating its legacy as a hub where food, sports, and entertainment come together. The anniversary festivities kicked off on April 11.
“Reaching 15 years is a significant milestone for us. In an industry where longevity is never guaranteed, we’re proud to have built something that has stood the test of time, not just as a business, but as a cultural space,” Jizell Cowan, Usain Bolt Tracks and Records Marketing and Sales Manager shared. “It’s a celebration of our team, as well as our partners who have grown alongside us over the years.”
To commemorate the milestone, the iconic sports bar and restaurant has rolled out a month-long series of activities, inviting patrons to relive the brand’s early days while enjoying a refreshed anniversary experience.
“We look forward to continuing our relevance and championing Jamaican culture through food, music, sports and entertainment for many more years to come.”
Long-standing partner Wray & Nephew has joined the celebrations, elevating the experience with curated cocktail offerings that pay homage to the venue’s beginnings. Signature drinks like the 9.58 and Finishline are being offered at nostalgic 2011 price points, alongside pitcher specials tailored for group celebrations.
Congratulating the team on the milestone, Kerry Ann Bryan, Brand Manager of Wray & Nephew White Overproof Rum noted, “Fifteen years is an incredible achievement, and we are proud to celebrate this moment with the Tracks & Records team. From the very beginning, they have created a space that truly reflects the vibrancy of Jamaican culture, and we are honoured to have been a part of that journey. Partnerships like this allow us to connect with consumers in authentic ways, and we look forward to continuing that relationship for years to come.”
Reflecting on the brand’s evolution, Cowan added, “When we opened we had screens in the tables, patrons could order from the tables so we were innovative with technology, and we’ve maintained that sense of freshness over the years. As we celebrate this milestone, we’re focused on reconnecting with our audience while introducing the brand to a new generation.”
The anniversary celebrations extend throughout April, with interactive promotions including the 9.58 lunch challenge, stopwatch giveaways and in-store specials encouraging patrons to fully engage with the brand’s legacy and energy.
Partnerships have also been a cornerstone of the venue’s success. “Having a staple, Jamaican brand like Wray & Nephew with us from inception makes this moment even more meaningful,” Cowan said. “We’re honoured to continue that relationship as we celebrate this milestone together.”
As Tracks & Records looks ahead, the focus remains on growth and cultural impact. “We look forward to continuing our relevance and championing Jamaican culture through food, music, sports and entertainment for many more years to come,” Cowan closed.
