The 2011 World 100m champion and the second-fastest man in history over both the 100m and 200m, Yohan Blake, is embarking on his latest business venture—this time in the United States. The Jamaican sprinting legend is set to take ownership of a Butcher’s Barrel franchise in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, further expanding his entrepreneurial efforts beyond the track.

"After lots of hard work, I’m excited to announce that my restaurant, Butcher’s Barrel is finally here! Join me for the grand opening on October 8th in Fort Lauderdale, Oakland Park. I can't wait to see you there", he shared on his X (formerly Twitter) account.

This venture follows Blake's launch of the Revierie Purified Water brand in Kingston in October 2023. The Butcher’s Barrel marks his first major restaurant venture in the United States.

Butcher’s Barrel is a high-end restaurant known for offering premium cuts of meat, including USDA Choice, Prime, and wagyu beef. The restaurant's menu often includes a variety of gourmet dishes, such as the Delmonico ribeye, foie gras burger, Colorado bison burger, and Nebraska wagyu burger, making it a popular destination for steak lovers and those seeking a fine dining experience centered around top-quality meat.
