Reggae Sumfest is ramping up anticipation for its 2024 event with the announcement of global reggae sensation YG Marley for Night 1 on July 19. More big international names are expected to be added to the already impressive star-studded lineup.
Following his major international breakthrough, YG Marley has become one of the hottest names in music this year. He joins an impressive lineup that already includes dancehall stars such as Aidonia, Teejay, Valiant, Jada Kingdom, 450, Malie Donn, Kraff, Munga, Pablo YG, and many others who have been announced for the first night.
After his stunning debut at the Coachella festival, this will be YG Marley's second performance in Jamaica, following his debut at Jo Mersa Marley's birthday tribute in March.
With his chart-topping hit single "Praise Jah in the Moonlight" becoming a Billboard smash, YG Marley is set to release new music soon. He has been working with Grammy-winning producer DJ Khaled on a track called "Running to a Solution," expected to be a hit this summer. There is also speculation about an upcoming collaboration with Jamaican icon Buju Banton, who recently back in Miami for the first time since 2018.
