Trinibad Global Ambassador DJ Punz Gears Up For ‘Lock OFF’ Return

After a landmark year of international touring and crossover success, the selector returns to Port of Spain for his homecoming birthday celebration.

After a year of international dominance, the mission returns home. On January 17, 2026, Lock OFF, the official birthday event for DJ Punz, organized by Punz Entertainment, Hi Esteem Agency, and Eternal Events, is set to take over Vice Night Club in Port of Spain, doubling as a homecoming celebration and victory lap for one of the scene’s most in-demand selectors.


The event will feature international guest performers, including Antigua’s Niqko Wyldwest, with more acts to be announced.


Deejay Punz has remarkable year as the sub-genre, Trinibad movement expanded globally beyond regional boundaries.



With over 100 shows successfully executed, he has spent the year as a traveling apostle for the culture. From the sophisticated nightlife of France and the tropical vibes of French Guiana to the energetic crowds in Guyana, the Bahamas, Tortola, St. Lucia, Costa Rica, Turks & Caicos, and Bermuda, the gospel of Trinibad is officially being heard in every corner of the globe.


On one of his standout peaks last year, Deejay Punz teamed up with dancehall star Skillibeng on “Bumpa Move,” a Bouyon-inspired track that propelled the sound onto the global scene.


Reflecting on the whirlwind year, DJ Punz notes the significance of the journey, saying, "2025 was about proving that our sound has no boundaries. Seeing people in places like France or Costa Rica shouting the lyrics to songs born in our local communities shows that the energy of Trinibad is universal. It’s a movement, and we’re just getting started."




“Our goal for Lock OFF is to match the international standard Punz has set all year. We’re creating an experience at Vice Night Club that honours his growth and the movement’s success,” added Anjali Maharaj, Chief Coordinating Officer for Hi Esteem Agency and Managing Director of Eternal Events.
