The Montego Bay deejay expands his Chronicles of the Reaper series with a new animated visual for his latest single, “Evil,” ahead of his Dream Wknd 2026 headline appearance

Tommy Lee Sparta's dark world comes alive in “Evil”
Dancehall artiste Tommy Lee Sparta drops the fully animated visual for his latest single, “Evil,” continuing the Chronicles of the Reaper series with another anime-inspired chapter.
The project was executive produced by Boss Lady Muzik, while the track was mixed and mastered by Dinesty Kong Muzik, adding the final touches to the latest installment of the Chronicles of the Reaper series.
Mental Chung elaborated that the concept originated after Boss Lady approached him with the idea of creating a Jamaican-inspired anime centered around Tommy Lee Sparta.
“Boss Lady contacted me about the idea of doing a Jamaica anime starring Tommy Lee Sparta. I started thinking about the possibilities of how we could bring it to life and reached out to my friend Laiken, who does digital art. She was up for the challenge even though she had never animated before. I wrote the first script, and everyone contributed ideas until we had something that everyone loved. The process took about two months. Laiken handled all the drawings and animation, while I edited everything together, making minor animation tweaks myself,” explained Mental Chung of Mental Chung Creative Lab.
“After the first episode, we moved on to the second, third and fourth. It became a very smooth process because everyone knew what they were doing. Each episode stayed true to Tommy Lee Sparta's songs. Some are exciting, some are emotional, but overall it's a thrill ride,” Mental Chung added.
Mental Chung also credited Boss Lady's daughter, Cloe, whose passion for anime helped guide the project's creative direction and ensured the series stayed true to the genre's aesthetic.
He described the collaboration with Tommy Lee Sparta and Boss Lady as an enjoyable and rewarding experience. “When we work together, it creates a certain force because we're all passionate about what we do.”
With “Evil” now officially released, Tommy Lee Sparta continues his prolific run in 2026. The Montego Bay-based deejay has maintained a steady stream of new music following his successful European tour and is now preparing to headline IGLOO, the grand finale event of Dream Wknd 2026, on Monday, August 3, in his hometown.
