Global sounds collide as Jamaican-born, Brooklyn-based artist Tina (formerly HoodCelebrityy) teams up with Ghanaian dancehall-Afrobeats star Stonebwoy for her empowering new single, “Peace of Mind.”
Produced by Kofi Black and distributed by KSR, the track drops worldwide on May 16, accompanied by a striking music video filmed on location in Ghana.
The song is a self-confident anthem celebrating freedom, self-love, and unapologetic individuality. Its catchy, empowering chorus — “Don’t tell me how to live my life, nobody tell me how to live my life, I go do all the things I like” — reinforces its fearless message.
“This song is about reclaiming your space and giving yourself permission to live boldly, joyfully, and freely. No guilt, no apologies. We all deserve peace of mind, and this track is a reminder to protect that at all costs.” Tina shared.
Ghanian star Stonebwoy added, “We’re sending a message of strength, freedom, and spiritual confidence. My line, ‘My life is blessed by the Most High, blessings shall follow,’ is more than lyrics — it’s a truth I live by.”
With lush visuals from Ghana celebrating culture, beauty, and resilience, the video merges seamlessly with the lyrics to create a powerful transoceanic collaboration. Blending Caribbean and African influences, it reflects both artists’ heritage while delivering a universal message of empowerment and pride.
“This song is about reclaiming your space and giving yourself permission to live boldly, joyfully, and freely. No guilt, no apologies.”
Tina, who gained international recognition with her crossover hit “Walking Trophy,” followed by fan favorites like “Bum Pon It” and “Inside,” continues to showcase her unique fusion of dancehall, hip-hop, and R&B.
