Jamaican-born, Toronto-based talent earns radio rotation in Trinidad and Canada while reconnecting with home for a new creative run

Multi creative talent Steffaani

Jamaican-born, Toronto-based artist Steffaani is building momentum across the Caribbean diaspora, with her latest single “Pull It Up” earning rotation on The Street 91.9 FM in Trinidad & Tobago and Vibe 105 FM in Toronto.

Now back in Kingston, her birthplace, the multi-talented singer is filming visuals for an upcoming project while making key media rounds, marking a full-circle return as she reconnects with the Jamaican scene.

“Jamaica made me. Toronto shaped me. But music is where I live,” she said, adding that “Pull It Up” reflects her at her most confident and free. Being home for the shoot, she noted, has only deepened that connection. “The island is in everything I create - I want people to feel that energy when they hear this record.”

Steffaani (born Stephanie Belanger) has built a reputation as a multi-hyphenate creative - and artist, actress, and dancer, blending Jamaican roots with a polished, global sound. Her music fuses patois and Caribbean warmth with modern production, carried by catchy melodies, a sultry tone, and sharp lyricism.

Her catalogue continues to grow with intent. In 2023, she released “Lawdi,” featured on the Irreconcilable Differences soundtrack, highlighting the link between her music and acting. She later teamed up with Afrobeats act Bugatti Bonsu on “All Night,” further showcasing her versatility, momentum she now carries into her latest release, “Pull It Up.”

The track is currently gaining traction across diaspota markets, earning rotation on The Street 91.9 FM in Trinidad & Tobago and Vibe 105 FM in Toronto. The dual support signals strong resonance across both Caribbean and diaspora audiences, reinforcing the record’s growing impact.

Builds diaspora momentum with “Pull It Up”

Her current visit to Jamaica is both strategic and deeply intentional, as she taps into the island’s rich music scene while drawing inspiration from its energy, people, and culture - all feeding directly into her creative process.

Steffaani makes it clear this is just the start of a busy run. With “Pull It Up” gaining traction, a new video in the works, and a full project on the horizon, she is moving with purpose. Keep your ear to the streets.
