Veteran deejay Spragga Benz returns with his first album in six years, featuring standout collaborations with Tarrus Riley and Sizzla, and including Cocoa Tea’s final recording, “Shoot Down That Drone.”

Veteran dancehall artist Spragga Benz drops his ninth studio album and first in 6 years, ENDEAVORS, on August 29. A powerful and reflective body of work, the project takes listeners on a journey through Spragga’s musical evolution and creative spirit.
The 13-track album which Co-produced by LMR Pro Productions and Red Square Productions, debuted at #1 on Itunes Reggae album chart. The body of wokrk was recorded over an intense three day session of nonstop work, a collaborative effort that captures the raw essence of Spragga’s artistry.
The result is an album that showcases not only his unmatched lyrical delivery but also his vulnerability, offering an honest and reflective tribute to social awareness, cultural struggles, and the complexities of human relationships.
Over the project he has most poignant tracks, “Shoot Down that Drone” featuring the late great Cocoa Tea, carries special significance. It was Cocoa Tea’s final request before his passing, recorded as a continuation of a song he began from his hospital bed. The collaboration stands as a timeless tribute to one of reggae’s beloved voices.
Other contributions come from an impressive lineup of Jamaican greats, including "Believe In You" with Tarrus Riley, "Teach Them" with Sizzla Kalonji, and St. Lucia’s upcoming artist Ashley Skerritt. Each artist adds their own unique depth to a record that balances Spragga’s signature presence with collaborative artistry.
The single “Best Friend,” a gripping narrative of betrayal, trust, and the complexities of human nature, is leading the pack.

Emerging in the early 1990s, Spragga Benz, known for classics like “Jack It Up,” “She Nuh Ready Yet (Hype Up),” and “Wi Nuh Like”, has consistently pushed boundaries throughout his career, from dominating dancehall charts to starring in films such as Shottas and Brooklyn Babylon.
