Skeng, unleashes dark energy on "13th Street Tape" mixtape

For fans of numerology, the number 13 carries special meaning, and with Friday the 13th as the backdrop, dancehall star Skeng seizes the moment to release his 13-track mixtape, "13th Street Tape."

The Ratty Gang boss brings his signature raw energy and dark, gritty aesthetic to the project, showcasing the intense “badness” vibe he's known for. Tracks like “Molly Team,” “Empty Barrel,” “Death Scent,” “Rattygang,” and “Sinners” featuring RajahWild deliver aggressive, unfiltered dancehall, perfectly suited to Skeng’s flow.

The mixtape also includes previously released songs like “Crash Out” from Countree Hype’s Fast and Furious riddim and others from Chinnaman Records’ Stock Chips riddim.

The production is led by Skeng’s Ratty Gang Entertainment crew with producer Topalone, with contributions from Drop Top Records, Chinnaman Records, and others.

Skeng also gives the ladies a little dark twist with “Loyal Gyal Pt. 2” featuring fellow hitmaker Valiant, and “Star,” which adds a different flavor to the project’s rugged tone.

With shows across Jamaica and the U.S., and a rapidly growing fan base, Skeng, who known for his infectious stage presence, can now add another strong project to his resume.
