A combination of music and a worthy cause to give back to the community, Jamrock Events brings reggae, culture, and more to Colorado, blending music, arts, and the delicious Jamaican cuisine.
On September 20, reggae icon Sizzla Kalonji is set to perform in Denver, Colorado, at the event Dis A Reggae, with proceeds going toward the Partial Incentives Breakfast Program, bringing hot meals to students at Windward Road Primary School in Kingston, Jamaica.
"Quite frankly, I reached out to several artists, and Sizzla was the one who saw the value in traveling such a distance to support the children of Windward Road Primary School," shared Eton Pearcy of Jamrock Events. "I’ve visited Judgement Yard in August Town on several occasions during my trips to Jamaica and recognized a shared purpose—he has long been committed to uplifting communities, just as I am."
On the challenges, Mr. Pearcy expanded: "Fewer than 5% of reggae artists tour in Colorado, often due to costs and logistical challenges. Still, I’m deeply invested in showcasing Brand Jamaica through our arts, music, and cuisine. This event series is part of a broader vision to bridge that gap and bring more Caribbean culture to this region. I’m especially drawn to artists who blend talent with purpose, those who are willing to travel and lend their influence for a good cause. My dream lineup includes Tony Rebel, I-Wayne, Richie Spice, Chronixx, Capleton, Queen Ifrica, and Shaggy, among others," he said.
As an alumnus of Windward Road Primary and a past resident of Windward Road, Bowa Banks, to be exact, Pearcy has a personal vision. Proceeds from the event will support the school's breakfast program. "This initiative is deeply personal to me. My profession is rooted in Social Work and Public Administration, so giving back and supporting communities is second nature," he expressed.
"I’ve had ongoing conversations with the school’s principal and guidance counselor about ways I can assist, and helping to rebuild and sustain the breakfast program felt like the right fit. For Jamrock Events, creating meaningful community impact is at the core of what we do," the event consultant added.

With that motive in mind, fans can expect "an energetic, spiritually charged performance grounded in love, empowerment, and authenticity. This show is about more than entertainment; it’s a mission."
