Kabaka Pyramid returns with powerful single

Grammy Award-winning reggae artiste Kabaka Pyramid returns with his latest single, “Rotation,” a vibrant Rub-a-Dub anthem celebrating the enduring power of reggae while urging DJs, selectors, and sound systems worldwide to keep the music in constant rotation.

Following two acclaimed solo releases earlier this year, “Rotation” marks the next chapter in Kabaka Pyramid's 2026 musical journey. Produced by acclaimed French producer Fatbabs, best known for his work with Naâman, the track blends a deep, bass-driven riddim with Kabaka's signature lyricism, resulting in a record equally at home on dance floors, sound systems, and international festival stages.

“There’s so much going on in the world right now, but I truly believe if we played more reggae, we’d all be better off,” says Kabaka Pyramid. “Reggae has always had a healing nature. It brings people together, lifts spirits, and reminds us of our shared humanity. ‘Rotation’ is my way of encouraging DJs, selectors, and sound systems everywhere to keep that energy alive by keeping reggae in rotation.”

Since capturing the Grammy Award for 'The Kalling', Kabaka Pyramid has remained one of reggae’s most respected voices, recognized for combining sharp lyricism, musical versatility, and purposeful messages that resonate with audiences across generations. “Rotation” continues that tradition while delivering an infectious anthem designed for the summer season and beyond.

Since winning the Grammy Award for “The Kalling,” Kabaka Pyramid has solidified his reputation as one of reggae's most influential voices, earning global acclaim for blending conscious lyricism, musical versatility, and socially relevant messages. “Rotation” continues that legacy, delivering an infectious summer-ready anthem with a deeper purpose.

More than just a feel-good record, “Rotation” serves as a rallying cry for DJs, selectors, and sound systems to continue championing reggae music and its timeless ability to heal, inspire, and unite communities.
