Shenseea Joins Rihanna, Tyla, and Cardi B on Smurfs Movie Soundtrack

Jamaican dancehall superstar Shenseea is featured on the soundtrack for Paramount Pictures UK's upcoming Smurfs movie, joining a powerhouse lineup that includes Rihanna, Tyla, and Cardi B.

Shenseea’s track, “It’s My Party,” is set for release on Friday, June 6, while South African sensation Tyla will follow with “Everything Goes With Blue” on June 13.

Rihanna premiered her contribution, “Friend of Mine,” on May 16. The track, which was featured in the official trailer, has already amassed over 7.2 million views.

The highly anticipated reboot of the beloved Smurfs franchise arrives in UK cinemas on July 18, 2025, with early screenings planned in the US and Belgium ahead of a global release.

Directed by Chris Miller (Shrek the Third, Puss in Boots) and co-directed by Matt Landon, the animated film is based on the original works by Peyo, with a screenplay by Pam Brady. Rihanna leads the voice cast as Smurfette.
