Shatta Wale drops another major collab

Ghanaian dancehall megastar Shatta Wale teams up with global R&B icon John Legend on a new cross-genre single titled “Ain’t Nobody.”

Inspired by a ’90s reggae groove, the track blends Shatta Wale’s seductive delivery with John Legend’s signature soulful vocals, creating a smooth, ladies-focused anthem.

"This is a big moment for the movement and for the culture," says Shatta Wale. "Music is a universal language, and bringing that authentic reggae vibration together with a legend like John was a natural vibe. We’re taking the sound to every corner of the earth. This is for the fans who know that when we link up, it’s only greatness. To the world!."

Written by both artists alongside Rob Murat, who also co-produced the record with Sean Kantrowitz, “Ain’t Nobody” bridges reggae and R&B through its shared themes of love and relationships. The collaboration arrives as the official lead single from Shatta Wale’s forthcoming studio album, slated for release this fall.

Shatta Wale has previously demonstrated his ability to secure high-profile international collaborations, most notably his 2019 appearance on “Already” from Beyoncé’s The Lion King: The Gift, which earned a Grammy nomination.

The release follows the announcement of Shatta Fest UK 2026, set for August 4 in collaboration with the renowned diaspora event Ghana Party in the Park. According to the artiste, the event promises a full day of music, dance, culture, and high-energy performances from the Shatta Movement camp.
