Acclaimed producer Seannizzle has built a reputation for delivering both heartfelt records and chart-worthy hits, and he's done it again with "Give Thanks," his latest collaboration featuring dancehall artiste Future Fambo and rising talent Sheenwrks.
The song openly acknowledges God's hand in their lives and careers, encouraging listeners to pause and reflect on how far they've come - not because life has always gone according to plan, but because God's grace has carried them through every setback, disappointment and season of uncertainty.
“I came up with the idea. Initially, Future Fambo recorded the entire chorus on his own, but as we listened back in the studio, I felt the melody wasn't quite reaching the tone and vocal texture I had envisioned. I knew the song needed another dynamic to bring that vision to life,” Seannizzle told Kaboom Magazine.
He added, “That's when I reached out to my brother, SheenWrks, because I believed his voice and melodic style would perfectly complement Fambo's performance. Once SheenWrks added his part, everything fell into place, and the chemistry between them was undeniable. From that moment, the rest was history.”
Seanizzle, whose given name is Sean Reid, said he sensed from the very beginning that "Give Thanks" had the potential to touch hearts. “To be honest, I felt there was something special about this song from the moment it was written. It came to life during Hurricane Melissa, and not long after, Future Fambo and I had a very deep conversation that really stayed with me. When I got off the phone, I immediately remembered this song and felt compelled to send it to him. I simply wanted to know if he connected with it. He called me back shortly after and said, 'When can I record? This is my life right now.' At that moment, I knew we had something powerful.”
The single has already generated an impressive response, earning praise from fans and a public co-sign from dancehall icon Vybz Kartel. Seanizzle said the reaction has exceeded his expectations. “Seeing the response has been an incredible blessing. From the very first content preview, people gravitated toward the message, and then to have the great World Boss, Vybz Kartel, publicly endorse the song took the excitement to another level. As a producer, there's no greater reward than seeing a song genuinely connect with people. In a time when uplifting records can easily get overlooked, it's a beautiful feeling to see 'Give Thanks' resonate the way it has. I'm truly grateful - and, as the song says, 'Happier than me, yuh cyaa find.”

Seanizzle and Future Fambo have shared a long-standing creative partnership, producing hits such as “Rum & Red Bull.” But the producer says “Give Thanks” carries a much deeper meaning, arriving at the right moment following the deejay's recent personal challenges. “Fambo is more than just an artist I work with - he's my brother. Knowing everything he's experienced in recent years, I felt this was the perfect time to create a song that reflected gratitude, faith, resilience and growth. Sometimes the biggest records aren't the ones that make people dance; they're the ones that speak to where someone is in life. My hope is that 'Give Thanks' becomes more than just another song, but a reminder that no matter what you've been through, there's always a reason to be grateful and keep moving forward.”
With nearly two decades in the music industry, Seanizzle has built one of dancehall's most respected production catalogues, crafting acclaimed juggling projects including One Day Riddim, Split Personality Riddim, 47th Floor Riddim, and many more while working with a diverse range of artistes. Reflecting on his creative approach, the veteran producer said his process always begins with the music itself. “It all starts with the character of the riddim - its mood, emotion and the tone it naturally projects. Once I understand what the music is saying, I think about which artist genuinely connects with that energy and can bring it to life authentically.
Additionally, I don't like putting artists in a box. Sometimes I'll hear an artist doing a particular tone or style over and over, and that's when I challenge them creatively. I push them outside their comfort zone to discover new melodies, new emotions and even new sides of their voice that they didn't know they had.

For me, producing isn't just about making beats—it's about identifying potential, creating the right environment, and helping artists unlock performances that surprise even themselves.”
As one of dancehall's leading producers since the mid-2000s, Seanizzle says he has embraced the evolution of music production in the streaming era while remaining committed to creating timeless records.
“The biggest change has been realizing that making a great song is only half the job. In the streaming era, you have to think beyond the music. You have to think about branding, storytelling, content, and how people are going to discover and connect with the record,” he shared. “From a production standpoint, I still believe emotion will always outperform trends. I focus on creating music that has longevity rather than chasing whatever sound is hot at the moment. At the same time, I've adapted technically by paying close attention to how records translate across streaming platforms, social media and short-form content. Every detail matters,” Reid expressed.

Reflecting on his ability to navigate multiple eras of the music business, Seanizzle said the industry's technology may have changed, but the fundamentals of a great record have not. “I've been blessed to produce music through different eras - from CDs and radio to downloads and now streaming and one thing has never changed: great songs always win. Technology evolves, but authenticity, emotion and quality will always be the foundation of a timeless record.”
Looking ahead, Seanizzle says fans can expect a steady stream of new music and major collaborations throughout the rest of 2026. “Fans can definitely expect a lot more from Seanizzle for the rest of 2026 - more music, more videos, more content, and above all, consistency. We're building something special, and my goal is to keep delivering quality music and memorable moments without taking my foot off the gas. I'm also excited about several upcoming collaborations and projects that I can't fully reveal just yet, but I can promise there's a lot in store.”
The producer also took time to recognize the team behind Seanizzle Records, crediting Creative Director Sasha Maya, cinematographer Gavin Palmer of Gavmazing Collectives, Director of Photography Courtney Russell, production coordinator Kimayro Pinnock, Daniel Pinnock, Tasha-Gaye Davis, Junior Bloodline and Haldane Reynolds for helping bring his vision to life.

“Finally, I want to thank everyone who has supported Seanizzle Records over the years, as well as those who have just joined the journey. Your support never goes unnoticed, and we're only getting started. As always, I give thanks,” he said.
