Known for shaping timeless sounds at HC&F Studio in New York, his legacy now lives on through "Hotta This Year," an 8-track tribute blending classic reggae spirit with modern energy.

Brought to life by longtime collaborators Dwayne "Deenucka" Johnson, Michael McDonald, and Ian Clough of C&I Jah Bless Records, the project reintroduces Smart’s signature sound through artists like Shaggy, Maxi Priest, Charly Black, and more.

"For both longtime reggae fans and younger audiences, the hope is that they feel a deep connection to the roots of reggae music while also recognizing its evolution.
