Set to grace one of Europe’s most recognized reggae and dancehall stages
Europe’s summer festival season is beginning to heat up, with promoters across the continent rolling out lineups for the upcoming months. Among the standout events on the calendar is the Sun Splash Festival, one of Europe’s most recognized reggae and dancehall stages, held annually at Zuiderpark Stadium in The Hague. This year’s staging is shaping up to deliver an intriguing mix of established names and fresh talent.
International dancehall superstar Popcaan has been announced as one of the headline acts, bringing his unmistakable Unruly energy to one of the genre’s biggest European stages. Fellow dancehall star Tommy Lee Sparta is also set to make his debut appearance at the festival, marking another major European stop for the Mobay-native deejay.
Fresh off a solid performance at Lost In Time, Grammy-nominated reggae singer Lila Iké will make a stop during her European tour, where fans can expect her soulful vocals and distinctive stage presence.
Dancehall will also be represented by 450, who is scheduled to make his debut at the festival. Known for his smooth delivery and romantic hits for the ladies, the singer’s appearance marks another milestone in his rising career.
The lineup also includes reggae crooner Christopher Martin and veteran acts Luciano, Glen Washington, and Richie Spice, bringing a blend of contemporary energy and classic reggae roots to the stage.
The festival is expected to attract more than 11,000 attendees, continuing its reputation as one of Europe’s key summer destinations for reggae and dancehall fans.
