Pablo YG, set to drop second album from "Key to the Century"
Dancehall artist Pablo YG continues to build on his rising momentum with the upcoming release of his debut album, "Key to the Century," set for later this year.
The Bad Juvi will drop the second single from the project, titled “Maui Wowie,” on Friday, May 9, via VP Records. Produced by YGF Records and Crawba Productions, the track is built around a sample from his late father Mr. Groove’s 2008 song “High Grade.”
“Maui Wowie” blends Pablo’s laid-back, melodic style with airy guitar and vocal textures, offering a smooth ode to cannabis. The track reflects his personal connection to the herb, delivering vivid, relaxed musings throughout.
The “Rich N Richer” deejay is also teasing an upcoming collaboration with dancehall songstress Stalk Ashley, which may be featured on the project.
The release follows his recent single “Celebration” featuring Jahvillani and comes on the heels of Pablo’s first sold-out show in the UK. While overseas, he also made appearances on BBC 1Xtra, Winners Talking Podcast, and DJ AG’s platform, helping to build momentum around his debut album.
