Dancehall newcomer OG Techneek is looking to make his presence felt with his latest single, “Weh Yuh Seh,” a release already generating early buzz.
The U.S.-based artiste teams up with acclaimed producer CJTheChemist on the hard-hitting track, showcasing sharp lyricism and a confident delivery over an infectious beat.
“CJ and I have been friends for a while. I flew to New York from Florida with the song already written. He gave me the best beat for my lyrics, and we shot the video in the Bronx, New York. The rest is history,” OG Techneek shared.
Despite being based overseas, the Jamaican-born artiste says his roots remain central to his sound and ambitions. “People should know that I’m here to share authentic music with pure quality. Being Jamaican has a massive impact on all of this, even though I’m living abroad. I’m a go-getter and extremely motivated.”
“Weh Yuh Seh” highlights the artiste’s hunger to make his mark, with CJTheChemist’s polished production providing the backdrop for the emerging deejay to showcase his talent and creativity.
