Morgan Heritage kicks off world tour with impressive shows in Florida and Summerjam, marking Una’s return after 10 years and Jemere’s debut as lead singer

Morgan Heritage ignites global stages with Summer Tour and return of Una Morgan

Legendary reggae band Morgan Heritage is celebrating a successful start to their summer world tour, which kicked off at the Yard on the Lawn celebration in Tamarac, Florida. Around 6,000 fans gathered at the Tamarac Sports Complex to celebrate Caribbean Heritage Month and witness a memorable night of music and legacy.

The event marked the return of veteran singer Una Morgan, who rejoined her siblings on stage after a decade-long hiatus. Stepping into the role of lead singer was Jemere Morgan, son of Gramps Morgan, honoring the legacy of the late Peetah Morgan. The group delivered an electrifying set of fan favorites, including “Down by the River,” “She’s Still Loving Me,” and “Tell Me How Come.”

On Saturday, Morgan Heritage lit up the stage at Germany’s iconic Summerjam Festival, thrilling thousands of fans with their timeless reggae sound.

Gramps Morgan was emotional after the performance and said, “Being on stage last night with my siblings, especially sharing the stage again with my sister Una it’s always a joy but at the same time I emptiness seeing my brother Peter Morgan not on stage 10 at the same time fulfillment of our family legacy seeing my son doing his part Singing his uncle’s part as a lead singer".

It is truly a humbling experience and very emotional as we see everything unfold about the Morgan Heritage LEGACY. We are looking forward to continuing this legacy by sharing our music, especially on this world tour, sharing the stage with some of the world's top talents. We say Morgan Heritage to the year 3000 and beyond.”

Morgan Heritage is set to continue their tour with a performance at the Sun Splash Reggae Festival in The Hague, Holland on Sunday, July 13. They’ll also appear at the Uppsala Reggae Festival in Sweden, Reggae Land in the UK on August 2, and additional stops in Germany and Spain.
