Moliy Set for Debut Performance in Jamaica at AfroJam, Teases New Track “Backie”

Moliy heading to Negril for first-ever performance in Jamaica

Ghanaian-American viral sensation Moliy, the hitmaker behind the Billboard-charting single “Shake It To The Max,” is set to make her official Jamaican performance debut at AfroJam Jamaica, happening June 26–29 in Negril.

The four-day, four-party experience will also feature emerging South Florida-based artist Yung Wylin, along with a lineup of DJs throughout the weekend.

Earlier this year, Moliy visited Jamaica to film the video for the Billboard-charting remix of “Shake It To The Max” featuring Shenseea and Skillibeng, a collaboration that has since surpassed 22 million views on YouTube. She later joined both artists and Vybz Kartel on stage during his historic concert at Barclays Center.

After recent performances in Barbados where she connected with Mavado and Skeng, Moliy continues her global run with an upcoming appearance at City Splash in the UK on May 26.

Following her meeting with Vybz Kartel backstage, Moliy hinted at another remix of “Shake It To The Max” featuring Stefflon Don, and teased a snippet of her next track, “Backie,” which has already stirred excitement online.
