The veteran reggae artist is set to introduce his genre-fusing sound, which he calls “Rasta Rock,” with the release of his Jamaica Love EP on August 29. “I wanted to create an EP that shares my love for Jamaica and reflects my growth as a musician,” Mojo said. “Hopefully, the fans will find the album worthy of Grammy consideration.”

Veteran reggae artist Mojo Morgan of the iconic Morgan Heritage continues to pave the way for the release of his debut solo EP, Jamaica Love, set to arrive on August 29.

Rooted in reggae and dancehall, the project broadens its sonic landscape with elements of hip-hop, country, Americana, and global rhythms, reflecting Mojo’s evolution as a musician and storyteller.

While Mojo isn’t actively seeking a Grammy nomination, he acknowledges the project’s potential and is leaving it in the hands of the listeners. “I did not make this album with the Grammy in mind,” Mojo explained. “I wanted to make an EP to share my love for Jamaica and to share my growth as a musician. Hopefully, the fans will find the album worthy for Grammy consideration.”

The EP includes collaborations with Popcaan, Sizzla, Maino, Chronic Law, Mojo’s children and nephew, and his late brother Peetah Morgan. It features previously released singles “Jamaica Love” and “Dreams,” along with the standout track “Make It,” which brings together Popcaan, Peetah Morgan, Chronic Law, and Pablo YG.
