Mojo Morgan, "we had some sizzling moments on set"
Veteran reggae singer Mojo Morgan of the legendary Morgan Heritage turns up the summer heat with his latest single, “Jamaica Love,” the title track from his upcoming EP.
Produced by Drop Top, the sweet reggae anthem is accompanied by vibrant visuals shot across some of Jamaica’s most breathtaking locations. “‘Jamaica Love’ is a personal tribute from me to the island that shaped my spirit and sound,” Mojo shared. “As a member of the Morgan Heritage legacy, I’m channeling the warmth, rhythm, and cultural pride of Jamaica into a solo anthem that celebrates home—not just as a place, but as a feeling.”
The song follows the journey of someone who has traveled the world but never lost touch with their roots. It’s a musical homecoming that celebrates the island’s magic—its people, music, food, and energy. With catchy melodies and heartfelt lyrics, Mojo captures the joy of reconnecting with Jamaica’s heartbeat.
Reflecting on the video shoot, he added playfully, “Well, I’ll say this—we had some sizzling moments on set, like the kiss from the two ladies. Maybe a little too much fun.”
Morgan Heritage is currently on their “Morgan Heritage 2.0” World Tour. Their next stop is South Florida at the end of June, followed by a European summer leg with performances at Summerjam in Cologne, Sunsplash Reggae Festival in The Hague, and Uppsala Reggae Festival in Sweden on July 26. “The future is bright!” Mojo declared.
