Coinciding with his return to Jamaica for the first time in over 10 years and amid rumors about his first local concert in more than a decade, dancehall heavyweight Mavado has officially surpassed 400 million total streams on Spotify.

As of October 18, the Gully Gad has racked up 402.4 million streams, with his most-streamed track being his feature on Snoop Lion’s “Lighters Up” (feat. Popcaan), which has amassed over 40.7 million streams.

The entertainer boasts 11 tracks surpassing 10 million streams on the platform, including his 2013 hit “Give It All to Me” featuring Nicki Minaj, which has earned 39.5 million streams. The single, produced by Birdman under Cash Money Records, also appeared on DJ Khaled’s album Suffering from Success and has garnered over 92 million views on YouTube.

Among his top-streamed catalog are late-2000s anthems like “When U Feel Lonely” (31 million streams) and “Come Into My Room” featuring Stacious (28 million streams), further showcasing the enduring global reach of Mavado’s music.

At an estimated rate, 400 million Spotify streams translate to an estimated $1 million to $1.2 million USD in gross revenue before label, distributor, and collaborator deductions.
