Marlon Asher to release new EP with Masicka collab

Trinidadian reggae singer Marlon Asher has announced his upcoming Ganja Farmer EP, set for release in May 2026.

The project is named after his iconic single “Ganja Farmer,” which marks 22 years this year, and features major collaborations including “In The Hills” with Masicka and a new track titled “Uncle” with Prince Swanny.

Arriving around the global 4/20 celebrations, “In The Hills” - originally released a year ago — now finds a home on the EP, while “Uncle” is set to drop on April 20.

“Ganja Farmer,” which has amassed over 28 million views, remains one of the most enduring cannabis anthems since the mid-2000s, even earning a sample on Burna Boy’s Grammy-nominated album No Sign of Weakness, featured on the track “28 Grams.”

The EP is produced by Grammy-winning outfit Vas Productions, whose credits include “Ganja Fi Bun” with Keznamdi, featured on his Grammy-winning album BLXXD & FYAH.
