Dancehall sensation Malie Donn continues to expand his global presence, surpassing 500 million views across his YouTube catalogue, marking another major milestone in his rapidly growing career.
With strong overseas demand and growing momentum on the international Dancehall scene, the Jamaican deejay continues to establish himself as one of the leading figures of the genre’s new generation.
His breakout hit “V6,” produced by Ireland Boss, remains his biggest record to date, accumulating over 54 million views on his official YouTube channel and an additional 34 million views on Ireland Boss’ channel.
Among his leading tracks are “Suspect” with approximately 20 million views, “Cups Up” with 19 million, “Body Tea” with 17 million, his current viral hit “Van Cleef” with 16 million, “Van Cleef Pt. 2” with 14 million, and “Hennergy” with 14 million views.
The milestone is driven by his rapidly expanding audience on the platform, where the Dancehall star has amassed over 655,000 subscribers and more than 3 million monthly listeners.
The milestone comes as his latest release, “Van Cleef Pt. 3,” continues to make waves across streaming platforms, claiming the No. 1 spot on Apple Music Jamaica, while “Van Cleef Pt. 2” and the original “Van Cleef” occupied the No. 2 and No. 3 positions, respectively, giving him a clean sweep of the chart’s top three spots.
His debut album, The Golden Child, has surpassed 11.1 million streams across platforms, according to data from music analytics platform Luminate obtained by Kaboom Magazine. Premium subscriptions account for the majority of the album’s streaming activity, generating 6.5 million streams (59%), while ad-supported services contributed approximately 4.6 million streams (41%).
His international momentum is also translating into major performances, with Malie Donn set to join A Boogie wit da Hoodie, Cash Cobain, KWN and Dolly Babe at Power 105.1’s Power Sessions on December 13 at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom. The event is presented by Power 105.1, alongside entertainment figures Matthew “Mateo” and Mona Scott-Young of Monami Entertainment.
