iHeartMedia New York’s Power 105.1, alongside Matthew Mateo, founder of Mateo Productions and President of 5 Star Entertainment Group, and Mona Scott-Young, entertainment executive and founder of Monami Entertainment, has announced Power Sessions, a special one-night-only concert bringing together some of today’s hottest hip-hop, R&B and Dancehall acts at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom on Sunday, December 13.

The star-studded lineup features A Boogie wit da Hoodie, KWN, Cash Cobain and Dolly Babe, alongside Jamaican Dancehall sensation Malie Donn, who continues to expand his international presence and establish himself as one of the leading frontrunners of Dancehall’s new generation. His momentum has been fueled by the viral success of his “Van Cleef” series, with all three installments making waves, particularly “Van Cleef Pt. 3,” which has emerged as one of the hottest tracks in Dancehall right now.

Doors will open at 6 p.m., with performances beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets go on sale Friday, November 6, at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.com and Power1051.com.

“This holiday season, Power 105.1 is giving New York another unforgettable night with the Holiday Edition of Power Sessions,” said Thea Mitchem, EVP of Programming at iHeartMedia and Program Director of Power 105.1. “We’re bringing some of the most exciting artists in hip-hop and R&B up close and personal with our listeners. It’s our gift to New York and a celebration of the music, culture and artists that continue to move the city.”

The event is supported by sponsors including Jerkhouse Caribbean Restaurant, John Starks Kia, LifeVac, Mercy University, Michael "The Bull" Lamonsoff and NBC 4 New York, with additional partners expected to be announced.

Matthew Mateo, an established entertainment executive with extensive experience in international music events, has played a key role in bringing major hip-hop and Dancehall performances to global audiences. His portfolio includes the Lox and Friends concert series, featuring The Lox, Mary J. Blige, 50 Cent, Rakim and Remy Ma, as well as Vybz Kartel’s blockbuster 2025 concerts in Florida and Atlantic City, co-produced with Monami Productions.

His partnership with iHeartMedia has also delivered the 2025 Power Sessions concert featuring Mariah the Scientist, G Herbo and Cash Cobain, followed by 103.5 KTU’s 30th Anniversary Concert in 2026, which brought together Ashanti, Flo Rida, Shaggy, Nina Sky and Paul Russell.

The upcoming concert continues the partnership between Mateo Productions and iHeartMedia, one of New York’s leading media companies, whose platforms span radio, digital streaming and live entertainment.
