Kranium scores another RIAA Gold
Jamaican dancehall artiste Kranium continues to bag more accolades as his global hit “We Can,” featuring Canadian rapper Tory Lanez, has officially been certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
According to the RIAA, the 2016 single received the certification on June 29, 2026, after surpassing 500,000 certified units in combined U.S. sales and on-demand streams.
The latest achievement adds to the song's growing list of international accolades. In 2023, “We Can” earned a BRIT Certified Silver award in the United Kingdom after surpassing 200,000 units, as measured by the Official Charts Company. The track was also certified Gold in Canada in 2021 before later being upgraded to Platinum, recognizing 80,000 equivalent units in sales and streams.
The certification marks Kranium’s second RIAA Gold plaque in the United States, following “Nobody Has To Know,” which was certified Gold in 2019.
Produced by Sak Pase and DJ Marley Waters, the smooth late-night anthem has stood the test of time, amassing more than 33 million views on YouTube and over 68 million streams on Spotify, further cementing its status as one of Kranium's biggest international hits.
