Dancehall artist Konshens teams up with Irish rap sensation Offica for the genre-blending single ‘Gyal Over There,’ marking the rapper’s debut release since signing with UFC icon Conor McGregor’s Greenback Records

Jamaican dancehall artist Konshens teams up with Ireland’s rap prodigy and leader of the A92 collective, Offica, Ireland’s rap prodigy and leader of the A92 collective, announces the release of his brand for new new single ‘Gyal Over There', released on Friday 22nd Aug, the single is Offica’s first since signing with Conor McGregor’s Greenback Records.
Bridging the gap between Irish rap and Jamaican dancehall, two international forces unite in a genre-bending collaboration set to take Carnival weekend in the UK by storm. Pulling vibes from Dancehall, Afrobeats and early 00’s RnB sounds, the pair have delivered a track built for clubs, festivals, carnival and late-night playlists - a true global crossover moment.
Offica who bron in Lagos nigeria and and raised in Drogheda, Ireland, Offica has rapidly become Ireland’s leading rap streaming-export achieving more streams than any other rapper from Ireland and assuming a leading role in redefining the sound of Irish hip hop with 100’s of millions of streams, sold-out shows, and groundbreaking freestyles. From viral hits like ‘Plugged In Freestyle’ to performing at the biggest stages at venues like 3Arena and festivals like Longitude, Offica continues to push boundaries, merging culture and sounds in thrilling new ways.
Konshens who already made is internaional impact with crossover dancehall anthems ‘Gal a Bubble’ and ‘Bruk Off Yuh Back’, come off the heels of the rlease of his latest Pool Party album, while he set to perform at the third annual Caribbean Musicv Awards, salted for Aug 28, at Kings theatere onBrooklyn.
The collaboration comes as Offica inks a deal with Conor McGregor’s Greenback Records. The legendary Irish UFC fighter launched the Ireland-based hip hop label in July 2024, co-founding it alongside Richard Buck and Julian O’Brien. Since its inception, Greenback has already signed notable acts including Xzibit and the girl group Sweet Love.
