Grammy Award-winning Jamaican star Koffee has made her highly anticipated return with the release of her new single, "RAPID FYAH," featuring dancehall heavyweight Skillibeng, marking the first-ever collaboration between the two Jamaican stars.
Released via Promised Land Records alongside an official music video, the track signals a new chapter for the internationally acclaimed artiste.
Blending Koffee's signature melodic delivery with steady percussive energy, "RAPID FYAH" is a rhythm-driven anthem built on momentum and lyrical precision. Skillibeng's unmistakable style complements Koffee's confident and captivating flow, resulting in a dynamic collaboration that highlights the strengths of both artistes while reinforcing their standing at the forefront of contemporary Jamaican music.
Ahead of her highly anticipated return, Koffee hosted an exclusive rehearsal session at Tuff Gong Studios on Thursday. Industry figures, artistes, celebrities, and fans turned out to witness the fiery showcase as the reggae star delivered an energetic rehearsal inclding her past hits.
The self-described "singjay-guitarist" first captured global attention with her breakout hit "Toast," before making history at just 19 years old when her debut EP Rapture won the Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album. The achievement made Koffee the youngest solo artiste and the first female artiste ever to win the category. Throughout her career, Koffee has collaborated with some of music's biggest names, including "W" with Gunna, as well as tracks and collaborations alongside J Hus, Sam Smith, Jessie Reyez, John Legend, Daniel Caesar, and many others.
"RAPID FYAH" is Koffee’s first release since last year’s self-titled single since last year's self-titled single "KOFFEE," produced by GuiltyBeatz. The new track serves as another bold statement from an artiste who has helped modernize and revitalize reggae music, bringing Jamaican sounds to an ever-expanding global audience while continuing to push creative boundaries.
She is now set to conquer stages this summer, with a packed schedule that includes a performance at Summerjam in Germany on July 5 and a headlining appearance at Paradise Coney Island in New York on July 11.
