JetBlue adds more weekly flights to Kingston starting December
Travelers planning a Christmas getaway to Jamaica will soon have more flight options. JetBlue is set to expand its service to Kingston’s Norman Manley International Airport, adding significant capacity to meet the growing demand.
Starting December 4, the airline will introduce multiple new daily flights from Fort Lauderdale. The schedule will range from two to three flights per day, ramping up to as many as six during peak holiday and summer travel periods. According to JetBlue, this marks one of its largest recent expansions in Jamaica as it strengthens its role as a leading carrier to the Caribbean.
Kingston, long celebrated as Jamaica’s cultural capital, has been experiencing a steady rise in visitors for both business and leisure. With its thriving arts scene and bustling holiday festivities, the city is attracting more travelers than ever, especially during Christmas when parties and events dominate the calendar.
The added service ensures more comfort and availability for visitors during the busiest travel windows.
The American low-cost airline highlighted Jamaica’s rise as a tourism destination, adding that the boost in Kingston flights strengthens its position in one of the Caribbean’s most competitive markets while underscoring its commitment to affordable, accessible service.
