I-Octane Stays True with “Walk With A Chip”

Jamaican reggae-dancehall artist I-Octane has released the third video from his chart-topping album God & I, which is sitting in the iTunes Reggae Top 10 for the past four months.

The single, “Walk With A Chip,” featured on Good Good Productions’ Cure Pain Riddim, stands out as one of the album’s most personal tracks.

Produced by Zum of Good Good Productions in collaboration with Conquer The Globe Productions (I-Octane’s own label) and distributed by Music Xchange, the song delivers a raw, emotional message. It reflects the weight of carrying past trauma while highlighting the resilience and determination to keep moving forward through life’s challenges.

“This song is me being real with my fans. We all have a ‘chip’ we walk with memories, pain, experiences we can’t erase. Mine came from trusting people I thought had my back, but they didn’t. Instead of letting it break me, I use it to push harder and go further,” says I-Octane.

I-Octane’s longtime collaborator and renowned producer Zum of Good Good Productions praised the authenticity of the track, adding, “From the first time I heard I-Octane deliver this, I knew it was special. It’s the kind of song people will feel because it’s honest and relatable. That’s why it connects.”

I-Octane draws from personal experiences, revealing how betrayal and misplaced trust can leave lasting scars, yet also fuel resilience.
