Shenseea’s hit single “Foreplay” has officially surpassed 50 million streams on Spotify, marking another major milestone in her growing catalogue. The track has also crossed 23 million views on YouTube, further cementing its long-term impact.
Released in 2019, the track showcases Shenseea’s confident, sensual delivery paired with playful, provocative songwriting that helped cement her early impact in dancehall. Produced by dancehall hitmaker Rvssian, the song is built on a reimagined version of his popular 2010 Beach Front Riddim, led by hits like Vybz Kartel’s “Virginity” featuring Gaza Indu and Konshens’ “Pretty Devil.”
“Foreplay” becomes Shenseea’s seventh track to cross the 50-million mark on Spotify, led by her top-streamed song “Shake It to the Max (Remix)” with Moliy and Skillibeng, which has surpassed 368 million streams. Her 2024 hit “Hit & Run” featuring Masicka is projected to join the list soon, currently sitting at over 49.5 million streams on the platform.
With over 13 million monthly listeners and more than 1.4 billion total streams, the Jamaican star continues to solidify her place among the most streamed Caribbean artists globally.
