Dancehall veteran Patra returns with "No Threat," the first release in a new chapter that includes more music, international performances, and a global distribution partnership between Plus Entertainment Inc., J-House Entertainment, and Sony Orchard.

The track is a bold statement from the pioneering deejay, who helped pave the way for female dancehall artistes on the global stage during her groundbreaking run with Epic Records/Sony Music in the 1990s.

“No Threat is the answer for people who keep asking me if I can still do it because there are younger artistes,” Patra said. “I set the stage internationally. There’s a big cake and everybody can have a slice. I’m Queen of the Pack, and there’s no threat.”

Patra also paid tribute to the late reggae legend Cocoa Tea, saying the song's message reflects a similar spirit. “I have to big up Cocoa Tea because when I wrote this song, I didn’t even realize we shared the same vibe. Much respect to a true legend.”

Fresh off her role in HBO's acclaimed drama "Get Millie Black," Patra continues to expand her creative reach while remaining true to the authenticity that has defined her career.

“The only thing that’s new about me is that I’ve become more spiritual and more business-minded. It’s still the same Patra from Westmoreland. I’m just smarter now,” she added.
