Rising reggae talent Dahvid Slur captivated audiences on Day 2 of Lost In Time Festival with a mesmerizing performance. Performing on the Foundation Stage, the Trench Town–born singer delivered an electrifying set that left the crowd in awe.


The Trench Town native effortlessly blended traditional reggae with modern influences, creating a sound that resonates with both new listeners and longtime fans of the genre.

Reflecting on his journey so far, Slur said, “The experience has been one with ups and downs and a lot of life lessons about focus, determination, and consistency, which has led me to a great start to 2026 with performances at Trench Town Culture Fest, Wicky Wacky Music Festival, and Lost In Time Festival.”


His set included selections from his latest EP “Give It Your All,” a project praised for its authenticity and rich musicality. Speaking about his influences, the singer explained, “My musical style is inspired by everyone from the old school to the new school, and also by listening to other genres such as R&B, hip hop, rap, reggae, dancehall, and Afrobeats.”



The festival, which celebrates the new reggae revival, continues to provide a platform for emerging talents alongside established names like Protoje, Lila Iké, Chronixx, and Jesse Royal. Held in the heart of Kingston, Jamaica, the event once again drew reggae fans from around the world to experience the island’s vibrant musical culture.


Critics and fans alike have since hailed Dahvid Slur’s performance as one of the standout moments of the festival. The singer is currently working on an upcoming album with Zion High Kings, with the possibility of several major collaborations on the horizon.
