Chronixx celebrates his 33rd Birthday with a new album
Just hours after the tracklist for Chronixx’s long-anticipated album Exile was revealed, it has been confirmed that the project will officially drop tomorrow, October 10, 2025, coinciding with the reggae star’s 33rd birthday. Fans, who have waited eight years for a new body of work, can finally look forward to this long-awaited gift from the reggae icon.
The album has already become available in parts of Asia, including Japan, New Zealand, and Australia, with Europe and the rest of the world set to follow around midnight. Listeners are now beginning to experience the 17-track project in full.
The project, will be released under the Forever Living Originals label, marks a collaboration between Chronixx and Dean Josiah Cover, better known as Inflo, the visionary founder of both the label and the acclaimed collective Sault, of which Chronixx has been a member for several years.
The official cover art and fresh design for the album are now live on Chronixx’s official website, which is already streaming snippets of several tracks.
Chronixx first announced the project during his appearance at Reggae Land in England last August, following years of live performances and creative work under the Sault collective.
This will be Chronixx’s sophomore album, following his critically acclaimed 2017 debut Chronology, which earned a Grammy nomination for Best Reggae Album at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards in 2018. The Spanish Town–born singer previously released two EPs - Hooked on Chronixx and Dread & Terrible.
