Xodus carnival promises unforgettable carnival kickoff
Xodus Carnival continues to push boundaries in the entertainment scene with the launch of its inaugural Xodus Wet Music Festival. Scheduled for Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 4:00 AM - 11:00 AM at the Kingston Waterfront, the event will serve as a spectacular kickoff to the Carnival in Jamaica season.
Patrons can look forward to a vibrant spectacle of paint, powder, water, and foam, creating a scene as dazzling as the Kingston sunrise. To top it off, Xodus Wet is cooler-friendly, allowing attendees the freedom to bring and enjoy their favorite beverages.
According to Carlos Phillpotts, Festival Director, “Xodus Wet isn’t just a music festival, it’s a full-blown sensory escape. We’re blending top-tier performances, water-infused vibes, and immersive experiences to create something unforgettable. This year, we’re pushing the boundaries even further. Expect the unexpected.”
With soca veteran Bunji Garlin and the ladies’ favorite GBM Nutron headlining, the festival promises an electrifying live performance that will keep the energy high from darkness to daylight. The lineup also features Jus Jay from Barbados, Major Penny from Trinidad, U.S.-based DJs Nocturnal Sound and Tony X, along with Jamaica’s own Zess, Rico the DJ, Franco, and Brush 1.
“Xodus Wet is where music, culture, and freedom collide. We’re giving our patrons more than just a show, we’re delivering a movement, a moment, and a memory. Patrons just need to bring their coolers, bring their crews, and come ready to get WET. They can also be prepared to enjoy some great offerings from our sponsors Wata, KFC and Chas E Ramson,” Phillpotts added.
Tickets are available for purchase at $7,000 for women and $9,000 for men, both online and at several outlets.
