Reggae and dancehall icon Buju Banton has officially unveiled the tracklist for his upcoming 13th studio album, TOO TOO BAD, set for release on July 17.

The Grammy-winning artiste has assembled a powerhouse roster of producers for the project, including DJ Khaled, Andre “Suku” Gray, Di Genius, DJ Mac, Jermaine “August” Reid, Kheil “Stone” Harrison, and Miami-based duo Silent Addy and Disco Neil, along with several other respected names from Jamaica and beyond.

Buju previously described the album as a “real dancehall ting,” fueling anticipation among longtime fans who expect a return to the gritty, hard-hitting sound that helped establish him as one of the genre’s defining figures during the 1990s. The album title draws inspiration from his 2006 release Too Bad, one of the most dancehall-focused projects of his career.

Among the tracks featured on the album is “Butterflies,” which released in April. Produced by Supa Dups for Black Chiney Music and issued through Gargamel Music and VP Records, the song rides a reimagined version of the iconic Real Rock riddim.

The project also includes “X Rated,” a track previously featured on DJ Mac’s popular WYFL Riddim. Another highlight is “Satisfy Me,” which reunites Buju with American R&B singer Ari Lennox following their collaboration on “Company.” Additional tracks include “We Nuh Play,” “FAFO,” “Eye 2 Eye,” “Good Pum Pum,” and “House Call,” while “Power” featuring Gramps Morgan.

With its blend of veteran producers, contemporary collaborators, and dancehall-driven titles, TOO TOO BAD is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated Jamaican releases of the summer.
