Dancehall legend Bounty Killer has joined forces with American reggae/dancehall producer and singer BL Tha Hook Slaya for a new track titled “Draco”, set to be released on all streaming platforms on Friday, August 22.

Draco is executively produced by BL Tha Hook Slaya’s label, Hook Slaya Records, in association with Contractor Music. The single delivers a hardcore depiction of life in Kingston’s gritty garrisons, capturing the raw essence of dancehall’s street roots.

The release comes just in time as Bounty Killer prepares for his historic return to Toronto after 20 years, where he is slated to perform at the Oasis Festival on Saturday, August 23.

For BL Tha Hook Slaya, born Bryan LaMontagne, Draco follows his recent success with Buju Banton and Capleton on the track “This Is How We Roll.” That single gained heavy traction, with its video airing on BET Jams, topping the CVM Central Expression Chart in Jamaica, and climbing to #3 on the iTunes USA Reggae Singles Chart.
