The Caribbean Music Festival’s event, “Rhythmz on the Hills,” originally scheduled for Sunday, November 2, has been rescheduled to November 23 due to the impact of Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica.

In an official press release, the promoters expressed solidarity with Jamaica, stating, “In solidarity with our Jamaican brothers and sisters, Caribbean Music Festival has made the responsible decision to reschedule ‘Rhythmz on the Hills’ to November 23.”

Organizers added that adverse weather conditions have affected artist travel, and many performers prefer to remain close to their families in Jamaica during this period.

The event is set to feature leading dancehall acts like Alkaline, Aidonia, and Jamal, alongside veteran deejays Admiral Bailey and Flourgon.

Earlier in April, the team, led by Zulu Entertainment, staged another major musical showcase headlined by Vybz Kartel, with performances from Spice, Tommy Lee Sparta, Teejay, Malie Donn, Ayetian, and more.
