Appleton Estate is raising its premium offerings this holiday season with the launch of its Limited-Edition Cask Collection: Spanish Sherry, unveiled on Monday at the brand’s Kingston offices. The bold new expression blends vibrant Jamaican rum with the depth and elegance of Oloroso Sherry cask finishing.

The release marks a historic first in Appleton Estate’s 275-year history, representing its debut global expression aged in this unique format. Curated by Master Blender Joy Spence and finished in hand-selected sherry casks by Deputy Master Blender David Morrison, the release unites Jamaican rum craftsmanship with the heritage of Spanish sherry-making.

“This release is crafted for the curious and designed for celebrations. It represents a new chapter for Appleton Estate,” said Kerry-Ann Bryan, Brand Manager, Appleton Estate. “For the first time in our 275-plus-year history, we are introducing an expression using the Spanish Sherry Casks, to provide a rich and sweet profile to expand the boundaries of what rum can be.” Bryan continues, “It sits beautifully between the Appleton Estate Signature and the 8-Year-Old Reserve, appealing not only to current Appleton Estate enthusiasts, but also to whisky and brown spirits drinkers.”
