Dancehall luminary Alkaline has achieved a major milestone as his 2015 single “Fleek” officially surpassed 100 million views on YouTube, marking his first entry into the coveted 100 million club.
Produced by Spanish Town-based True Loyal Records, the track remains one of the artist’s most iconic releases, further cementing his place among the top dancehall acts of the decade.
More than 11 years since his breakthrough, Alkaline has grown a loyal global following with over 2.46 million subscribers on his official YouTube channel. His catalog of hits continues to dominate streaming platforms.
“Ride On Me” featuring Sean Kingston leads with over 65 million views, while other top charting single include “Things Take Time” with over 47 million views to date, “Formula” (42M), “Things Take Time” (47M), “Company” (38M), “City” (34M), and “Ocean Waves” (32M), “Champion Boy” (31M).
This milestone follows the success of his flagship New Rules festival in Trelawny, Jamaica, earlier this year. Next, the deejay is set to perform at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Saturday, August 30, as part of the Reggae Fest Massive event curated by top promoter CJ Milan. The Labour Day weekend showcase will also feature Shenseea, Capleton, Elephant Man, and more.
