Zagga Obtains U.S. Work Permit After 6-Year Hiatus, Sets Sights on the West Coast

Dancehall-reggae artist Zagga returns to the U.S. scene with iTunes-charting single “All My Life” and plans to capitalize on the West Coast: “It’s a great look.”

Dancehall-reggae artist Zagga has obtained his U.S. work permit after a six-year hiatus, coinciding with international success from his latest single, "All My Life" featuring Jahmiel. The track has charted in 28 countries, debuted at No. 27 on the U.S. iTunes Reggae Singles Chart, and earned spots on major playlists, including Bobby Konders’ Massive B New Music on Hot 97,a nd was named a Billboard Fresh Pick of the Month.


“It's a good feeling mi can go back inna the U.S, go back to do some shows over there. because a 6 years now, mi nah do no shows ova deh,” said Zagga. “Plus, the project has been gaining traction over there.”



"All My Life" has been enjoying heavy radio rotation across the globe, including on Get With The Fix Radio (New Jersey), Zip 103, Fyah 105, and RJR 94 FM (Jamaica), as well as stations across the Caribbean and Africa.


Zagga is now preparing for a summer promotional tour in the U.S., organized by his team, with plans to target key markets he’s yet to fully tap into.



“The market there looks for we, go pon the west coast, get inna the reggae circle. We neva capitalize it inna West Coast, a normal Europe we go for, so it's a great look,” he added.
