Dancehall giant Vybz Kartel drops “God and Time,” the title track from his forthcoming 14-track album of the same name, set for release on June 5.
The song showcases a more reflective side of the World Boss, touching on themes of gratitude, faith, spirituality, and personal growth as he continues navigating life in his post-release era.
“God and Time” adds another layer to Kartel’s recent journey, with the visual, shot inside a church in Miami by Now Or Never team.
Sources tell Kaboom Magazine that God and Time is a collaboration-heavy project featuring several major link-ups, including the previously released single “Panic” with Shenseea, which recently surpassed 10 million views on YouTube.
Among the contributors are Grammy-nominated producer JonFX, a longtime collaborator of Kartel, alongside other respected names from the dancehall scene. The album also includes contributions linked to late rapper XXXTENTACION, adding to the project’s international scope.
The release continues a series of spiritually themed songs Kartel has delivered since his release, including “God Says,” “Victory,” and one of his most-streamed post-release tracks, “God Is The Greatest,” which has amassed over 33 million YouTube views to date.
