Uncover Online launches Jamaica Takeover
Uncover Online, a new platform dedicated to exploring the cultures, communities and movements shaping the soundtrack of the modern world, is set to launch its first Jamaica Takeover in October 2026, in partnership with ONErpm.
Beginning its journey in Jamaica, a country whose musical influence has helped shape popular culture worldwide, Uncover will spotlight the people, places and sounds driving the island’s contemporary music scene, with a particular focus on inner-city communities and the culture emerging from them.
Through a growing network of musical discovery, Uncover aims to travel to the places where culture is created, documenting the stories behind the music, amplifying local voices and connecting artists and communities with audiences around the world.
Its Jamaica offering will include Uncover Performance, a platform showcasing the next generation of artists by bringing together emerging talent and acts currently shaping the conversation.
Uncover Spotlight will provide a more intimate live setting for established and legacy artists, featuring exclusive performances that celebrate their careers, influence and lasting impact on the culture.
At its core, Uncover exists to champion the people, places and movements driving the next generation of sound. Built on the belief that every genre has a story and every community has a voice, the platform aims to ensure the musical movements shaping culture are seen, heard and understood.
Both series will launch as part of the October Jamaica Takeover, laying the foundation for Uncover’s inaugural programme.
Curated by Creed Music Global and presented in partnership with ONErpm, the Jamaica Takeover marks the beginning of Uncover’s mission to document the sounds, stories and communities at the heart of contemporary music culture - starting in Jamaica this October, with its sights set on the wider world.
