Three Artistes, One Love Song: WHOSRILA Drops “Angels On A Sofa”
Three Kingston creatives bring different perspectives on love to a reggae-rooted collaboration built together in the same room

Kingston-born reggae crossover artiste WHOSRILA continues his run of releases with “Angels On A Sofa,” a collaborative single alongside fellow Kingston artistes Pascal Pressure and Justice Case.
The song began at Long Mountain after the trio left The Compound, a Kingston studio known for its weekly live reggae sessions. Pascal Pressure picked up his guitar as WHOSRILA and Justice Case vibed around the melody, laying the foundation for the track.
The record later took shape across several locations, with Pascal’s verse developed in Blue Mountain before the song was completed at Stony Hill over two or three sessions.
He describes his contribution as being rooted in “consistency and discipline in loving,” while Justice, who came up with the song’s title, brings a more lived-in perspective on relationships.
WHOSRILA was intentional about having all three artistes create together in the same room rather than exchanging files remotely.
“It helps everyone to be on the same page while curating the song,” he said. “We all sat together and wrote together, to keep everything together.”

The result is a genuine collaboration, built collectively from a guitar line and a shared vibe rather than separate verses recorded independently.
Jamaican producer Keron “Kalex” Alexander, who regularly mixes and masters WHOSRILA’s releases, handled the mixing and mastering while also contributing to the arrangement. Nichalos Anglin designed the black-and-silver cover artwork featuring chrome lettering.
The single follows August’s “Made You” and “Energy” with KUM3RA earlier this month, extending one of the busiest release runs of WHOSRILA’s career.
