Toronto’s flagship venue Scotiabank Arena announced on Wednesday that a third date has been added for Vybz Kartel under Drake’s OVO imprint, set for October 30.

The event, promoted by Live Nation, will release general tickets after the first two nights, October 26–27, sold out in less than an hour. Over 35,000 tickets were snapped up, and presales saw more than 31,000 fans queued online, echoing the feverish demand for the Worl’ Boss. This marks Kartel’s first-ever shows in Canada and makes him the first Jamaican artist to headline more than one night at the venue.

“Fans flew from Toronto to Jamaica just to see him on Freedom Street,”inside sources told Kaboom Magazine earlier this week, adding, “He could easily sell out Rogers Centre with 55,000 capacity. It’s a Jamaican-based city finally seeing someone they never thought they would.”

Meanwhile, Drake clarified that Kartel’s Toronto shows are not OVO Fest but part of his historic Worl’ Boss Tour. “Kartel coming to Toronto isn’t OVO Fest—it’s his tour, and it’s a moment I’m so proud to be part of and enjoy with the city,” Drake said. “Champagne birthday celebration with the Worl’ Boss and The Boy. Of course, I might have to step out and buss some shells pon stage.”

Drake is also expected to perform some of his biggest hits, fresh off his two-month Some Special Songs 4 U European tour with PARTYNEXTDOOR in support of their joint album.
