“The Ladies Love Jahmiel”: Dancehall Artist Drops Romantic ‘Safe Haven’ EP

Jahmiel joins forces with Shakespeare to deliver a five-track project blending smooth dancehall and Latin-inspired melodies, perfectly showcasing his lover boy vibes

Fresh off his performance at Summa Fest in Barbados last weekend, Jamaican dancehall artist Jahmiel treats the ladies with a special five-track project, Safe Haven, embodying the perfect lover boy.

For this project, Jahmiel teams up once again with longtime collaborator-producer Shakespeare, who crafts a sound that blends classic dancehall with smooth Latin-inspired elements, soulful guitar riffs, and melodic rhythms.

With songs like “Safe Haven,” “Love Doctor,” “Spend Time,” and “Feelings True,” the EP delivers an intimate, feel-good experience - perfect for setting the mood in the bedroom or simply vibing with someone special.

“I came up with the idea because it’s something I’ve done before with the Intimacy EP, which was successful. The ladies love Jahmiel,” the singer expressed.

It’s not the first time Jahmiel has created a project dedicated to his female fans. His Intimacy EP, released in 2023, was a special Valentine’s treat that celebrated love and connection. His most-streamed song on Spotify, the ladies’ favorite “U Me Love,” has also surpassed 27 million streams to date.

Jahmiel continues to enjoy a strong fan base across the Caribbean and Africa, where his music is streamed daily. “Mi always haffi be creative, just in Barbados mi see how dem love mi around the world,” he shared. “It was a great live band show with Tower Band from Jamaica. really a big show.”

Speaking about his future in the music industry, the Portmore native shared, “It’s time for more music, new videos, and performances worldwide.”

The EP, released on Friday, October 10, is distributed by OneRPM and is now available on all major streaming platforms.
